About Us

My name is Iain and live near Glasgow, Scotland and I formed Digital Tartan over 5 years ago.  It began with an exercise in programming and mathematics but ended up as a website selling tartan products.  I use a unique algorithm and a large database of tartans to generate realistic printed tartan patterns that can be added to products and sold on the Zazzle website.  In the recent few years I havent had the time to dedicate to this website but I have finally got the site built to a quality that I had originally visualised.  I hope to continue adding more to the site over time especially if it is a success.
